5 tips so eating out doesn’t impact your goals
1️⃣ Make it a CHOICE. It’s absolutely ok to say to yourself that you want to eat high calorie food, the only thing that’s not ok is to do it and then to beat yourself up about it
2️⃣ PLAN. Eat a lighter meal either side of something more indulgent so you’re controlling the whole days calories
3️⃣ FREQUENCY. Consider how often you go out? Hardly ever, go enjoy! 2-3 times per week think about your choices.
4️⃣ FOCUS. Choose the light option, skip the bread and sides. Stay focused on your goals – that’s ok too!
5️⃣ Can you ever eat it again? Are you on holiday trying artisan delights you’ll probably never have again, go for it! Are you in a restaurant/cafe you know you’ll visit again… tell yourself ‘NEXT TIME’ – then repeat!
If these sound like the kind of tips that really resonate with you, maybe my approach to balanced, flexible nutrition that allows you to achieve your goals whilst loving life is for you!
